    How to setup N/A cams in a 850 T5

After reading a few threads on VS about fitting N/A cams.

I thought I would show how I have timed my N/A cams.

First I locked the cams in position and checked the front timing marks.

Then a put my digital angle gauge on flat piece of plate which fitted in the slot in the end of the exhaust cam.
The angle gauge was set to zero.

The 3 bolts on the front of the cam pulley were slackered off and the cam moved anti-clock by 2 degrees.

Then tighten the 3 bolts on the cam pulley, as you can see on the pulley it`s only small movement.

As for the inlet cam I did the same but moved the cam 2 degrees clockwise.

Then turned the engine over slowly to make sure it turned freely

Nice how to Rob, I've been toying with doing this to mine when I upgrade or have killed the current engine. how much was your digital angle gauge? looks to be a great way to set them

]With these cams fitted I take it the map will need to be changed as they are saying it moves the power up the rev range.
Nice to see the difference when it up and running.

Are you going to run solid lifters? And if so I assume they need shimming? :/
