I wouldn't put it like that but seems that if we can't crack 120 by the end of the quarter we can be helmetless...shame I fancy one of these...

Anyway, I have asked Crail to confirm.

edit: just noticed a reply from Crail in my inbox:

We do recommend helmets, and can hire you one if need be, but we only insist on helmets for cars exeeding 120mph and soft tops. If you do need to hire a helmet we charge £15, but you do get £10 when you return it.

    Any C70 convertibles attending?

As nice as that Shark helmet was above, it didn't meet Snell SA2010 requirements so I picked up a second-hand Hedtec one instead....

Pretty boring design but meets the MSA regulations so can be used for Hillclimbs etc. I'll be taking it to Crail if anyone wants to use it, if they don't mind sharing a sweaty helmet....like my head it is large

No worries matey, it's just a case of turning up if you are free - no pressure

edit: I'm reading about the Snowman Rally, looks good

yeah its always a good start to the rally year. although this year i think its going to be the wetman rally rather than snow!

i'm part of the service/chase team for a group of friends, this year we have 5 cars to look after. 4 evo's and a mk2 escort.

personally i'm bored of seein evo rally cars, they might get the results but they arent half boring to watch. now a 300bhp Gp4 mk2 escort is more like it.

I'll second that, Scoobies and Evos are quick but you must get them free with cornflakes as just about everyone has them

    edit: I was thinking of 4x4 Imprezas...Impreza's...Imprezii

Oh dear....the S70 is still in pieces. Plan B (the Renault 5) is also in bits. The only other 'dragster' available is the 480 turbo... without an MOT...

Sorry folks, to anyone who was thinking of attending. As above I'm without transport.... apart from a Transit van. Gutted it didn't come off as I am back to work soon
