Have you got a light, boy?

    Happy New Year, everyone!

    Styling advice needed 😃

The front indicator pods on my 850R are looking a bit cracky/scabby. The corner is missing from one, where the bonnet fit is a little out on the left (needs adjusting, plus there's a missing buffer at the hinge end). My headlights are in very good nick - no visible stone chips at all! (Could have been replaced, I guess - but not listed in all the service docs I have)

Anyhow, my question is, would the aftermarket "projector" style pods look good aside conventional heads? If not, are the conventional style aftermarket pods of decent quality? Or should I just head for the scrappy and see if I can find a couple less cracky than mine (unlikely, given the "newest" ones will be 18 years old)?

    BTW My car is black

PFV so some crystal style front indicators have a look online for different ideas.

It's the three variations from PFV (the projector style being twice the price of the others) that I'm considering - versus the best I can find at a scrap yard?

I'm rather drawn to shiney-new, but also like genuine parts

Phone Volvo dealers and ask a price of new items, as it's an older car the prices may suprise you.

Surprised in a good way, or a bad way? I had the impression that any old parts left at Marshall, etc would be prohibitively expensive?

Talking of which, just how many parts *can* still be had from the likes of Marshall, for old un's like the 850R?
