2005 S60 x plod seat swap

Good morning all

I have the opportunity to purchase a cheap half leather interior in perfect nick

Seats are manually adjusted so I am not worried about electrical connections to move seats

My questions are these :

Are the airbag connectors the same on pre and post facelift models?

Does anybody know how to switch the backlighting on on the HU603 that I have fitted?

Head unit is working perfectly (apart from aerial problem) and I have seen some posts on Sweedspeed that suggest that you have to tell canbus system that a head unit is fitted

I will be starting a project thread in the new year - watch this space

the seats have different connections to the pre facelift models but if you're handy with a soldering iron then it's "possible"

not sure about the backlighting on the radio tho. might be worth pulling the battery for an hour or so

Morning Martin, might have to wait for a facelift interior to come up for sale unless someone has done this mod before?

Concentrating on getting it up to scratch at the moment, needs tyres and a new back silencer

Been looking at that one, not sure what is involved with connecting heaters up, no switches on plod spec (as you know)

And I need tyres first to make sure it stays on the road

Do they need the heaters?, never used them on the C70 even on the coldest days, all T5`s seem to warm up very quickly
