So you'll have to start quoting whp, that'll please Smithy.

colin i aint bothered about the guesswork 360 its the 288 thats the reading for me, i know 360 was optimistic he just added 20% drag loss, he never goes by bhp

    I'm not bothered about the whole bhp/whp thing anymore, but you work out % increase differently, so 288 to 360 is 25% gain. Its 360 - 288 / 288 x 100.

As always with percentages it depends on if your working out increase or decrease.

Extremely rich and I bet there's more in the car with a simple custom map but so long as you're happy that's all that matters. Well done

    That's what I said, I was just pointing out that 360 is a 25% increase from 288.

That is pig rich Frank. Maybe even dangerously rich?

Being that rich would certainly lose a hefty amount of power. Which doesn't make a huge amount of sense, as your majorly over fueling on whites??!! I don't think whites would flow enough to get you to the kind of power quoted, let alone over fuel like that.

Running those afr's i'd be very surprised if the car doesn't bog down like a bitch, and smoke like an £££££££. I remember a few years ago Warrens 850, running a 19t and greens:- before it was tuned properly it was running afrs of low 10's and it bogged down like a ££££.

I'd definitely get it dyno'd somewhere else, so you can compare. You're not far from Marlin in Milton Keynes are you?

i didnt like that place really mate,198whp i got there lol, it drives smootly all through the revs, i did have greens and a 3.8 bar fpr on there till last week but even then it ran smooth as silk, i have put back in refurbed whites and a 3 bar fpr, maybe the air filter was blocking air?

Because I can't be arsed with finding out myself, what damage can be caused to the car by the engine being too rich?

Also was the engine cold? A cold engine could explain the overfueling?

Dunno mate, does seem weird that it runs as well as you say, and produced that much power on the dyno, even though it's running that rich, and on whites!

I would ££££ the air filter off and put the standard air box back on before doing another run.

If it was running that rich then surely you would have been able to smell it, when it was running on the dyno? Maybe just a malfunction with the diognostics?
