    A nice big bra.......

Is what i am thinking about fitting. Due mainly to the fact that i have had real problems with a body shop spraying my bonnet, and i think they may have got it right. So to protect the front end of my motor i was gonna fit this:

LeBra All Weather Car Bra For Your 1996 Volvo 850 - $67.95 (I recon £50 would have it at my door)

    Thoughts ?

    Sexy Not !

I'd rather set light to my pubic hair than drive around with that on the front of my car

How does it attach to the body?
Ive always found bras take quite a bit of practice of getting them off your lady quick, never mind getting them on!

Not so fast with the wellington-boot-bra, Murphy!

There's a new system on the market that uses clear protective film which just applies straight to the paintwork. I'll see if I can root out the ad.

Cool - thanks chance. Any idea of costs yet !?!?

and the other thing, is i found the show room section quite amuzing:

"Here are a small selection of the many many installs undertaken by our installation network in the last few months......"

Hmm. Wonder how many miles these motors clock up 1?!? 300 - 1000 / owner lol. Still would though

I think they'd come in handy in the summer months if your doing lots of driving. Stop your front end looking like a fly graveyard. Agree with the styling though, they are damn ugly.

Don't do it, its not worth it, be hard and live with stone chips.......I would rather ££££ out broken glass than make my car look like cheap essex tart!

Things like this are great for going to shows, if you want to wax up your car the day before, and avoid flies and the like on the way down. Although cling film works just as well

Try a single movement -thumb and finger either dide of clasp, pull together, slight twist and should release. Front loaders are easier, but don't see many of them these days...phew, I've broken into a sweat!

Oh, back on topic...that bra looks awful...we all hate stone chips and flies but what's the point of buying a nice car to slap that on the front. Might as well lock your car in the garage to avoid any kind of damage...

I get really stressed about milage, chips and marks as I see my car de=value, but then I think I drive to enjoy it and have to accept I'll make a loss...

Personally I think its too far - even headlight protectors can look daft if they don't fit well.

Like the idea of a protective spray though...

My friend Dale has one fitted to his Porche wheeled 1800 cc Beetle, he also has a MK1 Cab GTI Same paint colour!
BRA looks ok on a beetle but not on an 850!
