Nice mod, I guess the fact that the V70 is based on the S80 floor pan helped with the compatibilty of the exhaust. Sounds good and I bet with the pipes extended it will look good to, like a subtle factory look mod

Oh yes it will! It will transform the driveability of the car. Very cheap MOD. Costs nothing other than the environment and maybe a fail on an MOT. Thou I do agree thats its not really worth the hassle. Better off DeCAT + Stainless custom exhaust + Remap!!!

I remember when I had a metallic Red 850 GLT saloon (facelift version) It was mint and had T5 front end, 16" lollies and a tailgate spoiler with Brake light. I got tugged when the filth looked at me going the othe way at 30 mph. They thought I'd nicked the car!! I was only 22 and the car was mint!! They were detemined to book me for something couldnt find jack wrong. Asking me "Is this your car Sir?" LOL, Of cause it is you t wat!! They carried on asking me stupid questions and checking the tread depth whilst I continued to brim the fuel tank. They got there noses put out of joint when I said...`Right, now I gotta go and pay for the fuel, so are we done?'
They then got back in their astra panda car and buggered off.

here's a weird little twist to the tale....

You all know how long I've been moaning about the drone from my powerflow system...

and since decatting his D5, Craig has been moaning about the lack of noise from his V70R exhaust...

we swapped systems this evening and I gotta say, chavboy's D5 makes the most stunning sound I've ever heard from a derv. it actually sounds like a powerful petrol car... sort of 328 beemer but deeper in tone. looks good too.

mine sounds like... well, a V70R to be honest lol. bit of a howl under boost but if anything, too quiet.

time for a sports cat methinks.

middle box (non perforated tube with a single port in the side and the twin exit backbox.
