Finally got around to fitting my pcv system!
Started getting some gunk in with the oil and got told this was causing it along with the smoke on some start ups from the exhaust.
After fitting this, the smoke seems to be no more and the oil light o the dash goes out instantly and loads of other weird goings on have disappeared! good ay! I even managed to do an oil change with oil running down my arms and ruining yet another coat from the inside!

it seems alot smoother now, no idling issue either now! the only bit I had major issue with was the dipstick bracket and the bracket attached to the block next to the catch tank, couldn't figure out with the manifold wouldnt come off lol!

Great pics mate, this is something I've got to do, but will be replacing the PCV with a catch tank.

Its definately less hassle for me by doing it with the engine in the car!

Did the oil change this morning, thought i would clean the filler cap whilst it was draining, puled the seal off and it broke, was hoping i would have got away with it for a little while but, no chance, 25 mile run with oil spitting everywhere. Luckily this is the only issue after doing the work. hopefully get a filler cap seal tomorrow and top the oil level up. hoping to have exhaust, strut brace and a remap next year and possibly some of the bodywork.

I don't think it is now, it was quite bad before though and the gunk was getting worse, seems to have all stopped now, fingers crossed.
