    Dont no what to do

    I have volvo 850 t5r wat do ya recommed i do get more power its been chipped air filter exhaust ect but the engines done 250.000 is it worth it (sorry 4 the spelling )

    I dunno, but if you got a mini hayabusa the T5 will never touch it! lol

    I would look at shedding weight on the Volvo. A mate lost half a ton by chucking loads of stuff out. Engine wise it's standard T5r but flies the quarter at well under 14secs.

    thats frankie turning up next year with a naked 850. no doors bonnet boot or interior. hell do any thing to get under 14 seconds lol

    Well he refused to pick up your sandwiches!

    Think his forum name is Flamencokid and he on Volvoforums. I seen his car and it is ripped bare inc perpex for glass and door/bonnet/boot frames, seats, dash, that bi lump behind dash etc etc.

    Dunno if it half a ton, I may be wrong, but it very light for a Volvo.

    Oh, he taken bumper bars off etc too. Basically everything poss whilst keepin road legal.

    My almost standard 855 stripped did a 14.2 quarter.. Little ECU and I actually believe it would have been in the 13's.

    I say almost standard. It had Flywheel, massive air box with HKS Skyline filter, 3" throttle body and 70mm pipework(not RIP).

    Weight loss included polycarbonate side window, no interior, nothing that wasn't needed including 2-3kg of wiring.


    Current Garage:
    1997 960 3.0L 24v - Polestar...(Honest guv..!!)
    1997 855 T5 S - stripped to 1300kgs gross weight - 14.2sec qtr(rank 17*)
    2001 V40 T4 SE - 14.199@100.15MPH - Hybrid Turbo/VXR injectors and DeCat(Rank 15*)

    To get that sort of bhp you will need to fit forged rods, bigger turbo, bigger injectors,3" down pipe ,performance exhaust and a custom map

    As Frankie said, he turned up at Santa Pod with only the drivers seat and door cards left in the car, and still didn't get in the 13's.
