If all good, jack up the car (preferably on a four poster) and make sure the AOC module (says Haldex on it) that the harness is correctly plugged in and not dislodged. They have been know to come out.
Physically unplug it, clean the plug terminals with a good electrical cleaner spray and re fit. Secure in place with a cable tie.

Road test your car and see how she handles now.

For the record, if you have summer tyres on a P2R and gun the throttle, the front tyres may spin very briefly but only for a split second. Yes, the TRACS light may be flashing but that's only the DSTC working and detecting wheel speed difference. Totally normal mate.
If I floor my R in the wet then I can often get the light flashing but definately no wheel spin.

F1 tyres are very hard compound and will handle crap in cold weather. If your in Scotland then this time of year I would be running winter tyres.

Report back once you've done what I said...
Thank you very much, I will get back to you ASAP

Check your control arm bushings, if they are worn even slightly there is a chance the wheels will point in very very slightly different directions, this could affect your traction.

    This is purely advice:

People generally seem to think that winter tyres are only meant for snow and ice and these people generally underestimate the handling properties of winter tyres V summer tyres.
The compound of a winter tyre will not change at temperatures below 7 degrees celcius, meaning, you will not loose traction as the tyre tread and surface compound is able to distort and therefore alter its contact with the road surface.

Due to the excess sipes in the tread pattern of a winter tyre it means it can grip ice better, also a winter tyre, being of a softer compound, will be stickier and adhere to snow and ice better, including Tarmac!

To put it bluntly, summer tyres are all but useless in the winter and goes along way to explain why so many ppl have more accidents in the winter. Mainly because they don't adjust there driving style and increase braking distances and driving too fast in corners.
Having winter tyres dramatically reduces the chances of accidents because they can still do the job a summer tyre can't when the mercury falls below 7 degrees. They compensate for inexperienced drivers. The sad thing is, they wouldn't even know it!!

True James, but that wouldn't explain why power's not being sent to the rear wheels.

Lee, good plug on winter tyres. As you know, I've had my new 'Directional' winter tyres fitted today and the peace of mind you get with them is priceless.

The tyre specialist who fitted them (considering I actually supplied the tyres and they there was no sale to make), said that they are a lot more hard wearing than they used to be and although they wear slightly quicker than summer tyres, they are still much more durable than people think. They said there's been a lot of 'technology' put in to the tread compounds.

Mine are 94 load index, V rated and C for wet grip and C for fuel efficiency. Not bad for budgets!
