    So moving on...

Picking up another 850 saloon (normal, ahem, T5 this time)
Who on here can piece me an engine together? I supply parts.
I don't mind doing donkey work, but chucking one of these together is a bit different to my old pushrod Sunbeam TI days.
I'll have an engine with the car, but it'll need stripping down, a freshen up and the goodies bolted on

It'll basically be wanting new bearings, seals etc. Then the head, pistons and rods fitting together.
Everything else I feel confident enough doing myself. Clutch, gearbox and everything else should be easier if I build it up on the sub frame.

What else would I need to do internally for upping the power/pick up? Has anyone bothered knife edging or lightning cranks etc. ?

New bits coming in the next couple of weeks, so want this moving forward. Can't be without a toy can I?
Think this is going to be a nice, similar replacement for my Bluebird, but with nearly double the power and lighter
