    Cause of my oil leak

well i got home from work this afternoon so i quickly done the oil change for my nice 5w50 fully synthetic, whilst i was working on it i decided to try to get to the cause of my oil leak, i whipped the inlet manifold of and what did i see? the clip was missing off the pipe that connects the pcv box to the block lol, the pipe was on just had nothing clamping it around the hole. so glad it was something easy to sort, i'll finish it tomorrow

I have been looking into the po171 code and a few have mentioned the PCV being the culprit ...

bore wash is what finally killed my first engine, so be careful and get a wideband on there.

Wideband worth it's weight in gold mate. First mod that should be done IMO especially when you upgrade the exhaust, do it at the same time. Takes out all the guess work.
    Grey 855R Manual. Totally standard.

Wideband is an afr gauge.....air fuel ratio tells you how the engine is fueling

You get narrow and wide band the latter gives the wider range of readings hence the name lol

So is the sensor the same as a lambda or a different thing all together, also can it be fitted after the cat, as my new downpipe has 2 lambda bosses, but my car only has 1 lambda.
