mate of mine has a s40 2004. theres a terrible knocking from the top of shocker on the rear. was dark when i looked at it but it looks as if the shocker is undone from the wheel arch. im gussing theres a rubber bush thats shafted at top of the shocker. never owned one so just a guess.
