    K24 on 850 T5

So I've got a k24 to fit on my 850, I'm picking a downpipe up at the weekend hopefully, I know I need to sort out an intake pipe but do I need a different charge pipe that leaves the turbo? And what's the best way to tackle oil and water lines?

    Thanks, Charlie.

original charge pipe is fine just dont bolt it back in place, get S60/70R water and oil lines for the k24 turbo, also dont forget you will need gaskets and the manifold from the S60/70R too match the turbo

I think it depends whether the K24 you have has the V band connector for the charge pipe, if it has I', not sure the standard 850 charge pipe will fit over it.

Will the s60r oil/water lines fit straight on?

all i can tell you is they dont fit straight on an ME7 P1, i believe the pre ME7 P1s and 850s they are a direct fit

The oil and water pipes WILL need to be re-shaped to fit a 850 engine.

You would be better off with this type of outlet on the k24 as it`s easier to attach to the orginal pipe work.

What kind if "re-shaping" do they need?

I'll probably just get an alloy v-band cnc'd and make my own charge pipe if I can be bothered

The oil feed pipe will need to be reshaped to miss 3 plates on the side of the engine and the water drain pipe will also need reshaping so line up with the stabing on the main water line.
