You only NEED to change shocks if you have nivomats on the back. unless you want to go the whole performance package route.

Just be glad you don't have ex-plod suspension, it's worse than standard nivomats...

Equated to more than a 70mm drop when I did mine.

ill 2nd that the eibach springs are a great ride. i drove a standard d5 the other week and i could hardly tell the difference between mine and the d5. only time i find them hard is when ive been driving the c5.

I doubt the plod S60s have jacked up nivs, they don't have to carry as much crap as the V70 mate.

yep - that's nivs. probably standard nivs as plod nivs on a S60 would look daft lol.

If anyone's in the market for a full set of (yellow) APEX lowering springs (-25mm) that were only on the car for 12 weeks - let me know.

I have apex 40mm springs & Koni FSD shocks all round.

I agree with what others have said about the apex springs being a bit unforgiving, but my car does well when it's chucked about. Combined with my ecu upgrades & small scale brake upgrades, it helps to make the car much more fun.

I had nivomats which were fitted stock, I upgraded my springs first & it then looked like it had its bum in the air.

Changing the shocks a month or so later dropped the car at the back by over 3"!

Don't assume that it's not Nivomats just based on a garages opinion. You might be able to get someone to check your factory specs on vidas or similar systems.

You think I know **** nothing! But let me tell you I know **** all!

Thanks for your input Badger i've checked the shocks and the main agents have confirmed the car wasn't supplied with Nivomats - i'll just have to get my mind round the fact that the car doesn't seem to be as low as I thought it would be.
