Hi all...
I as most of the guys I have spoken to on here know im kinda new to Volvo
I bought a 2004 s60 t5(pre facelift) in the summer and I love the car to bits BUT......
in my own stupidity I think I have wrecked the ecu(well that's what a garage I use regular says)
I have put a 2.5 inch cat back bsr opti flow intake and gwe 3 inch downpipe with 200 cell cat on her with all being good (for a few weeks) then I got a mil turned out to be the lambdas were not working as they should have been
so I left it a few weeks (couldn't afford to buy the 2 at once) but I eventually got them(2 new bosch sensors) and got around to fitting them today now the problems seem to have gotten worse
codes as follows
ECM-2810 front heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) bank1 heating signal missing
ECM-2A20 rear heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) bank1 heating- signal too low
ECM-2A2A rear heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) bank 1 heating- faulty signal
ive tried clearing the codes (they come back near enough instantly)
the tech I take the car to says when ive extended the wiring for the rear o2 that its short circuited and because ive left it to do so thinks the ecu may now be a goner
what is my options here...??? can I get a second hand ecu re flashed for my car... am I looking at a complete rodgering from a dealer
OR
is it the end of my lil T5 s60
hope you guys on here can help shed some light on it as I really don't want to scrap it
thanks in advance
Robert
