bloody mafs do my bloody head in, i need another one now too

I would swap the maf of your other car for testing purposes and see if that improves the boosting, but not before I was happy that the oil pressure light issue was just a sender fault and not an actual pressure fault as you will do a lot of damage in not a lot of time if you continue to use it with low to no oil pressure, if the pressure is at fault then it's very possible the noise your hearing from the turbo is indeed the turbo internals being destroyed due to insufficient lubrication. Fingers crossed it's simply the maf and oil pressure switch that are the issues, if it was my car however I wouldn't be so lucky on both counts.
In respect of the wiring covers I'd replace them for piece of mind and as mentioned above without the brittle plastic lying around you will have no chance of it entering the engine by accident when you change the plugs during a service etc.
I've had oil pressure switches leak before but they still continued to do there job. Its quite rare for one to fail, why not take the switch out of the c70 coupe and try that in the cab?
Doesn't sound good tbh
Well, project cabbie is over before it really began. About 4 weeks ago one of our neighbours hit it with their company van. It only needs the wing replacing and the front bumper respraying, but the insurance company have written it off. On the plus side they're giving us £1075 for it which is over double what we paid for it.
