    Project Cabbie.

We picked up our hairdressers car today, drove back all the way with the oil light on, flickering off occasionally, and no boost whatsoever, but no noise from a leaking hose, and none of them seem loose. Biggest problem of the day though was when we got it home, I lowered the roof, to make it easier to clean the interior out, then opened the boot to clean that out too. When I shut the boot the boot open warning light stayed on, and the roof won't raise (I'm guessing the roof won't raise if it thinks the boots open). Anyway I tried changing the lock mechanism over with my car, but no luck, then tried shorting the plug with a bit of wire to get the light out, but that didn't work either. To make matters worse I shut the boot without reconnecting the plug, so now I can't open it! Tried the key that doesn't open it, and obviously the interior release won't work.
So has anyone got any ideas how I can get into the boot? I've had a look at the ski hatch but it has a plastic liner, and I don't think my arm's long enough anyway, and once the boot's open, any ideas how I can get the boot open warning light off?

    A couple of pics:

Sorry to hear that Steve, I suppose a code reader would clear the light (wouldn't it)

Not a boot open light, would only do engine management light.

The back seats don't fold down, and the ski hatch is lined so gives no access to the boot, think I'll try taking the back seats out.

By "lined", can you not get a tool of some kind in there to grab the plug?
Also, being made for the US market, does it have an internal boot release handle?
