    Lovely work as always Colin.

Id be very interested to see the brake force test results once MOT'd! Should be and there's no other word for it "phenomenal!"

I think it will either snap a wishbone or strut, or stop the earth.

Thats why he has another engine in the boot, its to stop the car from standing on its nose when he hits those brakes. Its all been thought about.

It's time to start getting the front engine all sorted again, so the Turbo is back on, then it's time to mock up for a new intake manifold, (not sure if I should have the intake in the middle of the plenum )

I have a choice of how to make the plenum (well how thick the aluminium I use) I could go 4mm or 3mm and weld all the sections together, but I've decided to go with 2mm and fold it all, the way I'm thinking is that the only welds will be along the bottom onto 10mm and the sides, there should be minimal chance of any of the welds cracking.
So it's time to bend some alloy ( I forgot to take any picks, sorry)

this is roughly where the Throttle body will go.

and that's the main part all folded.

Today was more work on the intake, hopefully tomorrow I'll get a chance to finish all the port matching and beveling all the ports.

Time to start sticking it all together, anyone thinking of making their own plenum for an 850 should look at the Fiat 20Valve throttle body, Firstly it does away with the bulky Volvo throttle linkage, secondly it does away with the idle control valve and all the plumbing associated with it as it's built on to the Fiat throttle body and thirdly, the plugs for the tps and icv are the same as the Volvo ones , ohh, and it's the same size as the 960 TB

liking the swaged braided vacuum lines, a very nice touch and look so much more professional. I'm assuming the fuel rail brackets where milled on the pillar drill and look great, do they give forward pressure to the injector seals to stop any possibility of air leaks.. ??

Have you warned the neighbours Colin, they may think the world is coming to an end, especially those of a religious bent.

Ps video will be needed that day, and sound. In stereo lol.
