The end is nigh I see.

Really looking forward to the debut at Retro.

Serious question here Colin, would you ever be able to MOT something like this and drive it on public roads or is that wildly out of the question?

The chap who is loaning me the recovery truck is looking forward to moting it and sees no issues as long as all the welding is up to scratch and any weakness that has been taken out is replaced (which it is and then some ) as far as he is concerned, as long as all the lights work, all the brakes work, all suspension components are good and it passes the emissions, then all is good.

Nice to see this continuing to develop! looking forward to seeing it in motion.

When they do the emissions would they check both engines (not sure if the exhausts/cats etc are totally separate)?

What happens with the emissions test? Are the engines tested as one or separately?

Yes, it will be a Volvo engine, let's get the T-10K sorted before we start thinking about the T-15 , then eventually, if I live long enough T-20

Gee Wizz Colin, you'll have to mount them on the roof or tow a trailer with two engines in!

Did a little bit of tidying up of the wiring and pipework today ( I know you can't tell) but there are a lot less cable ties in there now , I hope to get rid of the rad cover and replace it with a nice piece of aluminium before the Gathering next week.

How did you solve the tacho issue?
1996 Olive Green 850 AWD - Follow the Project - Forged rods, 19T, big blue injectors, 960 TB, 3.25" MAF, Ostrich, 608 binary, arduino data display, active exhaust control with Focus RS tips, 320mm front brake conversion.
1996 Nautic Blue 850 AWD - Failed its MOT, now it's a donor for the green thing.
2004 Sapphire Black S60 D5 - The new daily hack.

I just played around with the mode buttons, unfortunately the unit only comes with a wiring colour code, no instructions on what the buttons do, I'm still not sure what all the settings are

Colin, the unit looks similar to a Koso RX type, instructions for that below, with info for what the buttons do

    http://www.kosonorthamerica.com/inst...s/BA011B02.pdf

Might not be the same but they look very similar with SELECT and ADJUST buttons
