Coil pack issues....

Hey guys,

I need a spot of advice regarding the coil packs on my 2001 V70 T5.

Coil pack 4 packed it in on Thursday night (just as I pulled into my street!) I opened the covers & had a look.

First off the plug was way too loose to be good.

The port was full of carbon ££££e & oil residue, I assume the plug had been forced loose by the lack of spark.

I replaced all my plugs (needed doing!) and I have sourced a pack at the local scrappys today.

My only issue is that I had to take the pack from a 2.0T S60, not the T5.

Will this cause me any issues or should it be ok?

It has worked, but I'm just cautious as to what damage it may do if it's not all correct.

I believe they're all the same but not 100%.
both cars have the same rev range, it's just the pressures are different.

I'm very hopeful that they are all just the same.

Almost all of the numbers on the packs matched up.

Just one small number was different, but they were manufactured a few months apart.

I assume it's just been made in a different place or machine.
