    intercooler installation

I was going to do this tomorrow but as the rain stopped and it brightened up so I fitted the intercooler.

First unplug the relays and remove the fan.

Once the fan had been removed the rad hoses where removed along with the air con pipes and the complete unit was dropped out the bottom.

As I`m doing away with the air con the compressor was removed ( and it was a ££££in £££££££ to remove )

The new intercooler will need trimming by 5 mm on the sides to get it to fit.

Make sure the grinder has a guard fitted or you could end up doing this.

The intercooler was fitted and all noses fitted.

I`ve still got to change over the slam panel for a modified one and give it a oil change.

    To be continued.......

Well finished the installation off today, fitted the modified slam panel and gave her a oil change.
