That Marea's nice btw Colin, I like that. Speaking of 'cars that are slightly faster than you expect', I fancy a Laguna II GT 205

Mrs O had the 2.0 l 20 valve Marea for years it was very very fast, unfortunately it was made from rice paper and dissolved like a dispirin in the rain, but the engine was superb, and it weighed nothing at all, actually it weighed significantly less when I scrapped it than when I bought it I reckon about a third of it had simply washed away in the rain.

    Another month, another post

Well, in my last post here I was at 6 cars but now back down to the manageable 4, was briefly up to 7 if you include a car I purchased for a friend.

The Fiat sold eventually, the first time it was on eBay someone bid a large figure, but then removed it a few days later so the second highest bidder ended up becoming the highest bidder again and went on to win. When I rang them 2 days later to ask when they'd collect (as they hadn't made any contact) they apparently had no idea they had won the car and bought something else once they were outbid! And no, before anyone thinks I had someone bid the auction up too much then cancelled the bid you're wrong! It turns out they removed their bid as they thought the car was in Hertford not Hereford! So that's 2 cars on eBay in a row.
Relisted the car where it went for considerably less, in fact after all costs are taken into account I lost £0.21 on the Fiat, damn so close!

Get this though, about 2 weeks ago I put a car on for a friend, their very bland 2008 Honda Jazz with no MOT and no throttle response at all. Huge interest, agreed a price with someone and they came down less than 24 hours of listing it from London. Turns out he thought the car was in Hertfordshire again! He said he wouldn't have come if he realised that before agreeing to come and see the car. Fair play to them though for still coming!

The interest in that MX5 I had was huge, people were getting really funny when they were told they couldn't view until the first person that asked had seen it. They bought, no arguing and they were really happy with it, and they should be, it was stunning!

The other 4 then, well nothing is currently happening with the Volvos other than me fearing the 850s safety as my Aunt has moved into the house where the 850 is stored and her moving there means her 3 year old grandson/brat does too, I'm actually worried for the poor car!!!!

I will be preparing to sell the Clio soon, I mean I have had it over 3 months now! Still love the little bugger mind.

And finally the Alfa, what a car!
I started it for the first time the other day in about 12 months, first turn of the key, well obviously after I topped it up with electricity
I needed to move it as we are finally getting the driveway resurfaced! The V70 has been moved to a different address temporarily.

    What a car!
