Hi mate,

Right, it has been a while since I did this on my 2005 V70, so it should be the same on your car.

With your VIDA plugged into the car and the ign key in Pos II, (or better still, with the engine running so as not to flatten your battery) get yourself to this screen...............



So, you need to be in;

DIAGNOSTICS
VEHICLE COMMUNICATION
Highlight the CEM module on the map
ACTIVATIONS

My screenshot is without the car plugged in, so the STOP and START buttons are not useable. But you need to highlight DRL left and then right and press STOP. This should knock them off.
Like I said, it has been a while, so if that is not exactly how you do it, you are in the right area and with a bit of playing, you will get there.

Be aware though, this will only knock the dipped beams off, but not sidelights or tail lights. For that you need dealer software and about £50. You will save on headlight bulbs though, and mine were 80 quid a time!!!
