I am dubious how it would help given that the inidividual fingers of the inlet remain unchanged. What bottleneck has been mitigated by increasing the size of the main chamber. Discuss...

looks like the 'fingers' have been ported to their increase internal diameter. the volume of air after the throttle body will still have substantially increased so there will be some change, be it better/worse, in power.

edit: It looks damn good aswell!

i personly think it would of worked better with trumpets inside and also the constant diameter cant be good for a airflow.

Are you thinking of trying your hand at making one like in your first post??!!

What is the principle of how it works? Does it simply let more mixture in, so makes more power? It looks like one of those things that would only be beneficial with a host of other mods as well....I dunno? Looks shiny though

im thinking about it. my long term plan is if things go well is to use my car a demo car with as many GWE built parts as possible to show what im capable of. i plan to attend every volvo car show. ive got a few tasty mods planned for under the bonnet.

You can tune the runners on the inlet for more torque or more top end .normally longer for torque and shorter for bhp .i put longer ones on mine because I want more torque were my mates 940 has got short ones for more high reving and topend .

My intake has moved my power-band higher up, My car will happily run to 8500rpm and stay there at full boost, best i could manage with the standard 850 one was 7500rpm and boost would tail off.
