    wheel nuts wont line up on wheel that came off...

    vaseline is amazing stuff...............

    Story behind this thread was rather embarrassing

    Took nsf wheel off, went to put replacement on (another alloy I bought) and it would go on but no matter how much I tried it would not line up with the holes. Thinking possibly doesn't fit I tried to put the original back on, same happened. I spent a good 30mins wrestling with the f***er. I know it's common knowledge to slap some copper grease on etc but honestly wasn't bad and I would've bet my life it wouldn't of made any difference.

    Posted this originally asking if there was something I didn't know about causing it as I was going insane lol

    Then however bit the bullet and went to grab the pink vaseline for the kids chapped lips as after the house move the chance of finding anything of mine was slim. Instantly after slapping it on, slipped straight on in correct position like a slippery thing onto a slippery thing

    Felt like a right muppet and still do
