    Speedo stopped working

    Just driving the olive around the estate and noticed got no mph showing abs light is off was fine the other day any ideas

    give ignition key a flick forward when driving mate works for me

    Might just have packed in mate, they do seem to fail. I'd try another set of clocks before assuming anything else is wrong.

    James, I'm pretty sure you can change the clock without changing the mileage. You just seperate the back off the clocks and the mileage meter is built into it and seperate from the front part with all the clocks in it. I did it with my 850 when I installed a turbo gauge.

    Cheers Dave, its just strange the speed doesnt show as i thought it was done through the abs but no fault showing there??

    is it obd 1? if it is it gets its speedo pick up from a sensor in the rear of the gearbox. try changing that eay to get to. may have even come disconnected

    One thing to check, is the mileage changing when driving? As that is a separate motor to the rpm counter.

    Have you got any spare clocks? you could just try another set to see if it does work so you can rule out the sensors

    Was changing i think only got 200m ind est to drive it on lol, rpm counter is good as is fuel temp just no speedo

    Think i binned my old clocks typical lol

    Sorry, I meant the speedo motor/gauge is separate to the mileage counter motor (dunno why I said RPM)

    I have a spare set if you want to give them a try (don't have the turbo gauge in them)
