    brake calipers

ive learned this week that my n/s/f caliper is stickin and rather than just gettin another i'd like to fit some 4pots or the like, trouble is i dont fully understand how many other members on here have fitted none volvo calipers onto the hubs....

how do you get them to fit?
how you you get it to be as safe and strong as correct fitment ones?
what do you do with regards the brake disc and pads?
are the limitations just what you can fit inside the wheel?
what should i be aware of?
from looking on ebay, gumtree etc there is thousands of 4pot calipers out there from brembo, ap, subaru, landrover, mercedes to even metro, how do i decide? shirley a 4pot is a 4pot and theyll all work the same and if im gonna adapt them to fit anyway ill be just as well off gettin some that are easier to get hold of like landrover ones....
    really appreciate any input

Hes got porsche four pots on the back and Renault four pots on the front.

The Renault four pot brembos will only fit under 17" copy and original pegs with 320mm discs. If want to run 336mm discs you will need 18" copy or original pegs.

All those calipers are to wide. I no I've trid to get them to fit.

The Renault brembos are a thin caliper and will fit. Ive got some mounting brackets for the Renault calipers and 320mm discs

If I remember correctly the Fiat, alfa and Renault bembos are all the same.

I've used Renault bembos as they are easier to get hold of

The way the Renault Brembo's fit in Oblarks setup is the same as my AP set, except for the price of course!
