17's or 18's

Ive been reading through the threads recently re wheel size for the c70 and wondered if anyone can give me any advice. The car has standard suspension and ive decided to change the wheels to nebulas,would i be better sticking with 17s or upgrading to 18's? I may consider suspension upgrade after wheel change, would this have a bearing on wheel size for this model.
In respect to tyres, would 40's be the best bet for 18's if 18's are ok to fit?

Dont worry about the wheel size with lowering the car, 18's will fit no probs, 19's fit with about a 55-60mm drop on the front with some rubbing on lock so 18's are easy!

40mm tyres are probably a good idea on 18's, 35mm are very stiff and upset the ride abit.

I've just put 18's on my S60 look much sweeter, got 225/40 on... ride is a little harder than the 45's that was on but not so bad.

Had mine lowered 30mm around 6months ago, now that does firm up the ride.... but handling is much better.

PM or phone Mark from Salvo he has Nebs on his C70, 40's are ok if you want a softer ride, but s few of us have gone with 35's.
