Just flushed the power steering again as was a bit dark, used the correct stuff as it's a P2. Nice light green now.

Well some thing turned up today for the car

    Snabb S60R / V70R M66 Short Shift kit.

    http://snabbuk.co.uk/products/04-07-...ow-shifter-kit

Wanted one for a long time but we're not in production for a while, but they are now ..

Must say it looks very well made the machining finish is top notch for something you can't see when fitted .

Going to fit it this weekend if the clips & bushes turn up from Volvo got to come from Sweden ,will do a Thread of its own when the other bits turn up roll on the weekend.

Make sure you cut the base of your remote unit directly under the lever or the cable will foul it being lower.

Will do just finished reading the 5 page guide with photos of how to fit it , Just the pictures were enough to see what you need to do . Looks easy enough for me.

This is the clip thats very easy to break when you remove it.

The other bits should be ok but we will see when I fit these bits.

Just can't help myself, couple nice mods around the corner. .

Just one of the things that has bugged me for a while when the windscreen was changed at some point the fitter marked the A pillar trims so these will go in when a new screen is fitted, by me with nice clean gloves on.

How many miles have you got on the engine now. Mine didn't split until 141k, been perfect since shimming.

But I'll most likely change the engine if I ever got gearbox issues.

Mines on 109k just got it done to make sure it doesn't split a liner, just insurance , a total no brainer to get Mr Williams to do it and the other jobs at the same time.

Oh definitely, be better to shim before a crack like mine, but I suppose if mine wasn't cracked the owner wouldn't have sold or be such a bargain price, with doing the shimming myself I managed to get it on the road cheap.

At least it didn't get broken up and it's a good excuse to freshen the engine up later.

Glad it's getting looked after and having some future mods, I took mine to Tim for a small job, it was there for weeks while he rectified all the little mistakes I had made before hand It's also going back when I return for some 'more upgrades'

Beautiful car, a real credit to you. Funny how some of the parts are made in Germany lol.

Good stuff I've got a set to put on but haven't had a chance yet, always nice to have a fluid flush and new lines.

I like the blue, did you pick the colour (have them made that way)

Only managed to do a couple humdred miles before I came away with work, it seemed to pull well, didn't really give it the beans as always listening for noises, but really happy about how things have worked out, if the engine hadn't of failed then all the other stuff wouldn't have been done.

It's going to have more goodies when I return too.

If you can wait until end of May I will send you some race brake fluid to go with the new hoses
