I suspect that the Ford fluid you list is an exact cross reference to Volvo's Pentosin or CHF11S. It's all the same stuff, just after 2005, when Ford sank their teeth in, Volvo were forced to look for an alternative fluid at Ford. I'm guessing the Ford stuff is also green?

I will have a look in my handbook and see what it lists.

Oh, and the fluid you removed was exactly the same rank colour mine was!

Greta to see the pictures of the RTi removed Harvey. I need to send my RTi away first, before I fit it.

Bit of a update with the fog lights.

When I fitted the n/s fog to get the beam lined up the lamp unit looked like this, not very happy with the look (gap).

I have a spare set of vented grills (removed from my old S60R) to which I am going to mod them with this bits sure you will get the idea.

Going to use these vents to fill in the gap around the lamp units.

There's a 2 mm gap for the fogs to fit in these.

Then plastic weld the to the grills after cutting off the lip.

sure you are getting the idea of what I am trying to achieve.

Here you go. I did have a set of sponges inserts but I thought (could be wrong ) a number of people have said there is a bit more noise when they are fitted as they are made out of hard material, I am not keen on that. When these are now sold in the UK not just ipd and around £20 per set and softer material I will give them ago.
