    Fantastic colour!
I'm fairly sure we didn't get Sonic as a colour here. I've certainly not seen one in person.
Looks like you're working through the 'to do list' anyway.

At least your gauge is calibrated correctly...mine rests at -2psi, so will be going back under warranty.

Can't understand why you bought the wastegate tool thou? Surely you could of got the Mityvac instead? More useful for diagnosis reasons.

It's just something to help fill up the tool box, I guess I will use it once then put it away until the next car turns up.

Had a nice couple of hours in at Kastner Volvo Exeter this morning ,cars service was due.

The main reason for service was to get the Software upgrade carried out, Talking to the tech that carried out the service he did find that it was due for a upgrade which took around five minutes to send it to the car.

I also asked for a price to replace the sump "O" rings which is around £130 + Vat not a bad price but they would need the car overnight to do that job.

Now have years Volvo road side cover as part of the service

Parts came to £117 labour £97.50 that's with there customer loyalty scheme.

The car I'm about to buy (a Sonic S60R) is a Kastner's car. Spoke to them about it before deciding to buy it and the service chap (sounded like an older local gent) reckoned it has been well maintained. Came onto your thread to say hello as I could see your car was a Sonic Blue, but you must be local to Exeter too?

Are you anywhere near Chudleigh? That's where I'm buying my S60R from. Picking up next week (Thursday). If you know a lot about these cars maybe I could buy you a pint and gain some knowledge? Bit cheeky of me as a new member, but I thought I'd ask!

No there is no sump gasket as such as it's comes in a tube liquid gasket That Volvo make specially for it.
The Sump has a number of O rings where it mates to the engine block & in the Sump pan pipework .
Over time they can brake down or just move and let air get suckered in or lose oil pressure.

The sump is just damp but not leaking enough to see where it's from or drop onto the subframe / floor.

Do you have the part number for the 6000k Phillips front side light bulbs you use? I have 5000k but I want to change them for 6000k.

Well at last I got hold of a subwoofer for the car and it's in great condition.
Yes the car is pre wired for it.
