I do know the online sellers do say in stock on there sites but when you order it can change . There could be a new batch from Monroe in the UK that's now up for sale, But I do wonder how many of these will fill back orders.
It goes without saying Volvo get first dibs on them from Monroe when they put a order in for them , if they can sell them for near £500 each they will .

Yeh agreed, I experienced that, although it looks like mine shipped direct from France after the order was placed, maybe they are european based.

Are you changing the coil springs too? I'm thinking about taking mine back out and getting new springs ( I know half a job !) Any idea how much they are from volvo? Apparently there are different ratings based on VIN number

all 4 shocks & springs were changed around 12k miles ago on my car , so won't be fitting them as not required,
Just going to decide what to do with them I guess a fellow R owner will have them but will see.

Last weekend I did a oil & filter on the Car,To be honest it didn't really need it, but it can't hurt.
Beginning of the year it had a magnetic sump plug fitted.
so here's what it picked up.
I would say it's worth fitting, the sludge it picked up was very fine ( Just aswell I found no bigger found stuck it it ).

The last few weeks I have been loosing a very small amount of coolant, but could not find where it was going until this week when I found a drip of coolant under the radiator.

Even with two leaks it only dropped by 6mm on a 200 mile run., Big thanks to Mr willams for changing the radiator for me.

The main reason Tim williams did my radiator was as he was already fitting something else which he does quite often.
Sure you have heard about the intercooler he does, I did say I would like one as they do fit so well ( fits onto stock hoses) and has a very good reputation for working well on the track .

The only thing I didn't like the idea of is having a big shiny alloy intercooler looking out of my bumper at me , So I did ask if it could be anodised black finish, I'll look into it Tim said a bit later he got back to me , Ok it can be done, first one he's done like it

So here it is not a cheap Chinese type intercooler but a made in England one which is a quality product. .

I was lucky due to the fact I was getting my engine coolant radiator changed the front crash bar didn't need to be removed.

Cracking job that Tim did, I think he's just as fussy as me to be honest. The difference it makes is quite noticeable. On the mid range of the revs the car does pull better now even the way I drive (slowly compared to some)
