I did order some better bulbs (the middle ones in the picture )which have a steel base and ceramic insulator and looking at them they match up perfectly with the filament of the standard bulb , as "R" has the projection type foglight lens.
The bulb bottom in the picture is what came with the kit and the insulator is just plastic and of poor quality.

So this is one more job to get done at some point soon ,I think I will fit them at the same time I repair the intercooler as it needs a repair done then a bit of paint on it.
Do you have a link for those middle bulbs mate? I'm going to fit HIDs in mine too. Changed a bulb only two weeks ago and the bloody things blown already.

Well today it had its first proper wash of the year !.
Also fitted a powerflex lower engine mount bush the small one, then gave the engine a oil & filter change.

I think the last clown than did the oil change use a two foot long breaker bar to do up the sump plug as that's what I had to use to undo it.

Are they the Brembo drilled slot disks or standard type? When mine are worn I will be fitting the Brembo drilled slots type.

I was quite surprised they all came one box sure it weights more than 25kgs .
They are the drilled ones that's the only ones Brembo offer they don't do slots for our cars and the price for the stock ones were almost the same.(I did have a look around could have got some from the states but that was just silly money even before shipping & tax).
I know the drilled ones do/can/will crack but I think I'll take the chance Seeing I do such high mileage.

More bits in the post today

Just thought it looked very nice, same colour as the paintwork.

I think I should be at the fit this quite easily.

    Does look very well made.

    And a bag of screws.

The info with the valve does say take the car for a easy (light footed drive.) for 1/2-3/4 hour for the ECU to learn the way the valve works.

Last thing I have been waiting for the postman to deliver was sitting on the side for me today.

Been looking around for a nice camera to install on the back tailgate ,this one should fit nice just a tad too big easy to trim down.

I know the volvo number plate light only has one screw Hole but it will be easy to make it look a nice install and it's a PAL camera .
