I think that should give a quick check list. The other thing to consider is the quality of the cat. A cheap cat WILL fail and not flow as well as a good metallic cat.

8eight fab look to address all the points I listed, believe me most won't...
I shall certainly check all these points, some are silly and you'd think how could that happen lol. I was going to buy a ferrita and just copy it.

I've got a GWE on the sonic and it's got a slight fitment issue, the 45 is too sharp and points upwards slightly, other than that it's not too bad.

I do know a very good fabricator that is very well sort after, does a lot of prototype car chassis and TBH he is incredibly boring and precise with his work.

It might just be me but buying a product with the intention of copying it is wrong. In doing so it's like saying you want to try and remove the option of others to buy a dyno tried and tested product from a trusted manufacturer.

I don't see the difference between copying a physical product to software like VIDA. VPCUK won't allow discussions about copying VIDA IIRC.

I did say WAS but now making my own, they are pretty simple to make, I don't see how people have made such shoddy dp in the past.

Good, thanks for clearing it up as it read that you were going to buy one to copy. I understand now.

    Hi Harvey
    I Do like your car, I only have a 2002 S60 D5
How are you getting on with your new IPD rear toe bars, are they as well made as they Look,
I do like the idea of these as they look like they can be adjusted very precisely?
    Thanks Dave

Thanks , yes well made the Volvo parts are alot lighter than you think to hold the wheel in place. The n/s one was a little bit bent tho don't know how it got like it as never hit a curb.
The guy said very easy to adjust to the required toe angle.

    Hi Harvey
Thanks for the info, yes I had to change a Volvo one on my car, it was my fault, I pushed down on it with a jack when changing my springs, and it gave way like a bit of MECCANO
I will not be doing that again,
I have seen the ipd vid on youtube, they clamed it will sort out the camber ,I don't see how as it is only changing the toe, same as Volvo arms
    Thanks Dave

When you alter the Rear Toe on a Hunter machine, the camber will also move. Not by much, but it will move, none the less.

The fit of the cat back I have is spot on , I'm sure the front pipe will be the same , can't wait to hear the difference in sound .

I find mine not overly loud. Nice, subtle burble.
Does drone a bit though, probably not helped by the slush-box.

Jamesy's choice. He fitted it when he had the car before me.
I'm far too tight to pay out for one
