    Worrying electrical fault

Was driving along earlier today and noticed the dash lights weren't working, then went to use the indicators and they weren't working, neither were the elec mirrors, heated seats and all the outside lights apart from the hazards
and brake lights. So I stopped and checked the fuses and they were all fine, so tried everything again and it was all working fine. So I'm abit worried now as my girlfriend drives it a lot and abit worried she's going to lose all the lights one night going round a corner. Has this happened to anyone else and or advise on what to check?

    Many thanks.

its the electrical portion of the ignition barrel bud, Easy fix, Take cowling off from column , on the left side you will see wires going into the back of the barrel hidden behind a plastic cover.

Remove cover, to expose the back of the ignition barrel, with the key in the igntion remove the 2x 8mm screws and pull the back half the the switch off, replace this part and reassemble. should sort it out bud.

If the lights play up when driving usually if you move the key in the barrel back slightly everything will work again.
