    Strut Brace fitting tips

Hi all, Im thinking of fitting a strut brace to my new 850R, but was wondering if there are any snaggles to look out for? Are the three nuts on each brace there purely to accept the strut - IE will anything drop off the other side when I remove them? How about torque settings, or is "nicentight" about right?

    Cheers!

The nuts hold the strut top but nothing will move when you remove them. Just don't do them up too tight as they can snap off.

Excellent! Thanks M-R-P :-) I have a tendency to overtighten, so I'll be cautious!

Nothing will fall off, as long as the car is on the ground, if it's in the air then your suspension strut will fall out.

not sure on the 850R, but some models had an electrical connector & bracket bolted inside the engine bay using the strut bolts. Just place it back on after the strutbrace if its there
