Rattly top mount

Long time no see guys

So the C70 was advised on a nearside top mount at mot time last year before i bought her but now its rattling about which is annoying.
The question is which part needs replacing ? the rubber on top of the spring or the bearing top mount ?
Any info as usual will be greatly appreciated

Without looking that would be hard to diagnose mate. Going off past experience its usually a bearing in a rubber mount & what you can see is the capping on top.

Id change the both while ya there dude but I would only advise genuine parts otherwise your wasting your money unless you wanna change um again in a yrs time I got 6 months out of mine lol

i had a horrid rattle on mine on the near side. i changed the shocks and all good. i had the same a couple of years ago with an s80. the shock was rattling inside.
