RI have bought some new turbo hoses for my '98 v70 R and they are a tight fit, so tight they are a bugger to get on, has anyone had this issue and if so please could you tell me how you managed to fit them in the end?!

Warm them up in some boiling water first, dry them off then fit them warm polyurethane is a lot more plyable when warm hot like any other rubber to be fair, would not use oil you really don't want the boost pipes sliping off under full load and oil perforates plastic rubber etc!!!

Thanked 7,752 Times in 5,648 Postsnot being sarcastic mate, the breather system naturally deposits a small amount of oil in the inlet pipe which then gets distributed as a thin layer of oil inside the charge air pipes. if there's none at all in yours, you might want to have a look at your pcv system. unless you're running a separate catch tank? wd or something that evaporates is best.
