    My Volvo V70 R







    Car specification:

    Electric driver and passenger seat
    Heated seats (working!!)
    Leather and alcantara trim
    Air conditioning climate control
    Cruise control
    4 x electric windows
    Electric mirrors
    Heated mirrors
    Stunning stereo with 3xCD changer in the dash and cassette player
    6 x CD changer in the boot
    Full trip computer
    Centre armrest
    Cup holders
    Remote petrol cap release
    Headlight wipers
    Electric glass tilt & slide sunroof and sliding blind
    SIPS side impact protection
    Driver and passenger air bag
    Rear centre armrest folds out into a child booster seat
    Split folding rear seats
    Retractable luggage cover
    Front fog lights
    Upgraded Volvo Digital Dolby Surround Sound System
    Black roof rails
    Volvo detachable towbar and electrics
    Volvo blue engine cover
    Volvo Mudlaps
    "R" embossed floor mats
    "R" embossed 5 x spoke 17" alloy wheels with new Vredsteins
    "R" badged mesh grille (lower grill is missing)
    Red "R" boot badge
    Volvo foldaway dog guard (no evidence of dogs!)

    Unopened Volvo first aid kit
    Volvo warning triangle still in its original case
    Walnut interior wood trim


    Needs a few bits doing but seems a really good base to start from, also some paper work to say its been mapped but a trip to big fish shoud tell me if this is true

    Not a massive update but grill needed freshening up a little, so a friend who runs custom motorbike shop offered to spray it for me

    Grill before



    After a fresh coat of gloss black




    Masking tape removed



    Fitted back on the car





    Still need to pick up a lower front grill

    Wheels powder coated in gun metal grey



    But callipers and hubs were letting the finish down slightly, so wheels were removed so callipers and hubs could be painted.













    Whilst the wheels were off they received a coating of Carpro Dlux inside and out to help protect the finish and also make them easier to clean

    Wheel bolts and brake pad retaining springs polished up using Britemax metal polish twins

    No i didn't mate, bargain for Shaun IMHO. Just bad timing for selling I guess but I needed the empty space.....for a ££££ty Renault as it turned out haha :S DOH

    It's a sad fact they're so low in price, no body wants a big fuel guzzling estate car. No wonder so many get broken. I figure mine is worth at least a third more in bits & it would be a damn site easier to sell. Lol

    Yep - nice car and some nice work done to it
    19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...
