    She needs a respray, but still gave Gul some attention.

    Wash, chamois, Meg's Ultimate compound, Ultimate polish and Simoniz original wax. Didn't take too long, but worth it:-

    Thanks for that, and I will be buying one or the other. The door strips seem new, and it is just the bumper trims that are not so clever.

    has it had new doors and wings fitted, they are a different shade to sills rear quater and rear bumper. i thought was the angle of shot at first but i can see the colour difference in all pics

    The offside rear quarter is the wrong colour as someone has painted over the original paint for some reason. I knew that when I bought her, and that the bumpers needed doing etc. The nearside is better, but was too close to the wall to get pics, and I was too sweaty to jump in the car to turn her around.

    Looks as though she's going to be sorned from end of this month, and I intend to put her back on the road 1/3/14, before the mot is due. The tyres on the Comets are rubbish, so I'm happy for her to sit on those through the Winter, and get new tyres in March.
