    French S70 !!

    Dear VPCUK members,

    First, excuse me for my English, I’m French !!

    So, I ‘m here to present my car : a S70 T5 MY 1998 with 270000km.

    This is a car for track days, most of the time at Dijon Prenois.

    Here is the car when I bought it (unfortunately without Ohlins) :







    Bought some new parts : S60R exhaust manifold, Sparco seats, 16T7 turbo, MSD coil, …







    Try to gain some weight :







    Put D2 Racing coilovers and MPRE short shifter (better than snabb I think) :





    Unfortunately there is no camber with these coilovers despite the camber plates …

    New OBX exhaust “output?” :



    do88.se intercooler and new injectors :

    Now, I don’t know what to do : Quaife ? M66 ? Rollcage ? Anti-sway bar ? …

    That's true !!

    I can keep some Megane RS, Lotus Elise, Exige, Porsche 964 Carrera 4, ... behind me on track. (Depends on driver)

    Great mods, welcome to the forum. If you're going to keep it as a track car then I'd go for a full cage, that's going to add a lot of stiffness to the shell (it'll also keep you in one piece if you roll it). Are you still runing stock drop links?

    Nice car, I like the Ohlins adjustable dampers at the front there.....I've seen those somewhere before - on Priscilla, Jan Woth's project.

    Yes a full cage would be nice !! The best mod with the Quaife I think.

    I use the D2 Racing drop links that comes with the coilovers. Why this question ?

    That's not a full cage but ...





    ... move to 13 millimeters up with 1 Ton of pressure under the front left wheel. Stiff enough ?

    if your going that far with a cage, why not just do a full one your only really missing the roof & windscreen section

    Very nice build you have there , the graph looks great and it's a very nice looking car
