I'd get some mastic or tiger glue in there mate.

Have you got windscreen cover? if so, stick a hammer through it and get a new one fitted properly.

Not free any more most charge. To have a new screen fitted.
Is there a firms name on the screen as you could try running it round to them to have a look at there poor workman ship.

it's worth the 75quid excess for the satisfaction of putting a hammer through a windscreen

Don't use mastic or tigerseal!!! You need proper windscreen bond.. due to you having air bags. I can sort you some if you need it, just pump some in from the inside and smooth it in with your finger job done.. ( I fit windscreens for a living )

I would go the hammer route but i have to pay for a new windscreen. I just can't believe that the standard windscreen hasent been fitted properly.

would it be posable to remove the screen without braking it and have it refitted?

would you need to give it a scrape or something to get rid of any mould growth and crap so the bond stuff will stick?

This is true give it a good clean with an alcohol based window cleaner and make sure it's dry, then bond away. But be warned the black stuff sticks to everything and is a bugger to get off
