He deals with Volvos. He knows the sizes etc. Its a silicone reducer on turbo. ALLOY J tube up towards maf. then 90 degree silicone from J tube to MAF. He also Made a cut for the pcv nipple thing with a gromet and put in 3 vac line nipples..... If you want some pics and measurments I can take mine off at the weekend for you and take photos and sizes etc. PS its for a PH1 by the way

Also its based on the SNABB one. Looks exactly the same

Because I know nothing... What sort of real world effect should I expect on a non-tuned car with these mods? Would you consider them good bang for your buck mods as compared to down pipe / exhaust? At present these may be within my grasp and I may be interested.

in this order bang for buck
    remap
    down pipe
    exhaust
    decent air filter
    fmic
then the likes of snaab pipes

thats my opinion. other may disagree though.

to be honest i dont think these pipes will make much of a noticable difference buy ive made all my pipes 3" so guess ill find out when the car hits the roller later on this year. if it makes over 349 then i know the extra little mods ive made have made a differnce

The major difference I notice was a massive sound difference coupled with a Cone filter The intake sound is LOUD now with a metal pipe instead of Plastic. I love the sound difference. No noticeable difference in power though

Thanks guys. Will hang fire then. I do have what may be a tiny exhaust manifold hole... Loud tick on cold start up which quickly goes. People who have listened have diagnosed it as the manifold and advised leave alone. If I ever replace then I guess I'll be PMing you graham for a price for down pipe if you still do them.

    EDIT: Hijack over.

still doing down pipes. got a house full of them at minute. the blowing sound at manifold is probobly loose bolts. they are know to work loose on these engines. its impossible to have a hole in the manifold possibly cracked but i very much doubt it.
