fault code p0107

Don't suppose anyone could tell me what the above code is caused by, MAP/BARO circuit input low is what it says, is this the sensor next to the fan relay at the front of the car? or something else? thanks in advanced

P0107 Control module Signal too high / signal too low. Intermittent Fault

thats the correct meaning for that code, nothing to do with MAP/BARO sensors

That error code points to the Cruise Control Module to the left of the fuel relay 103 in the fuse box at the left hand side (looking at the engine from the front) rear bulkhead .
Undo the four screws and lift the lid. The Control Module should have S..T on it.

If it needs replacing you should find that the cruise does not operate or it stops operating while driving!

If all works ok check the wiring...if the volts supply are below 10.5v or above 16v the module does not operate.

You don`t say what model you drive so all the above could be crap.

completely forgot about that bit sorry, i drive a '98 v70r fwd, will this still apply? cruise control has never caused me an issue, it drives spot on with no sign of anything at fault.

I have just looked in my other books and you are correct in your first post!

The Map Sensor is by the fan and is held on with one bolt .

There is a hole in it just make sure it is unblocked by cleaning the surface, i wouldn`t go poking things right down in the hole!!

The discrepancies arise because depending on model ALL the OBDII codes do not apply.

There are over a 1000 of them and although OBDII compliant only some are applicable, so hence the difficulty in finding where exactly the correct code is.
