To be Honest I'm not that Pleased with mine, I thought it would of looked better for all the work I put in.... Maybe tomorrow I will like it more but as of now.... Big thumbs down from me.
You know I can't let all my secrets out mate, just a small chance I'll have it by the weekend so I'm not getting excited yet.

Your car looks great mate, hopefully all that's needed now will be a quick going over with the detailer Sunday.

    Looks very nice, Well done.

The Megs range is good for the money and easy to use, The clay kit is a very user friendly product and its very hard to marr the paint when using the soft clay they provide. Just making sure theres plenty of lubricant applied and turning the clay bar when it begins to get full helps! I really rate their endurance tyre dressing aswell!

Certainly got some good depth and reflection, Saffys do look good when the paint is clean but saying that my old S70R was quite swirled and still had reasonable depth and shine.

What sort of correction level did you achieve do you reckon? Did you use any UV or Halogen lighting to aid with seeing the swirls in the paint and aid the swirl removal/correction?

    Good stuff

    Simon

    good effort there Ian.
what about adding a top coat of some kind, like autoglym gold shine? (or whatever it's called, the narrow bottle with the gold label) I find it gives it that last little boost to the shine.

You should Steve it incredibly easy and very user friendly, nothing to be afraid of at all. You don't need the 205.

Cheers Simon, your right the Megs stuff is very user friendly, I'm not sure what correction level I acheived as my car was in pretty good condition beforehand the 105 is quite abrasive though. Unfortunatley I don't have the use of UV lighting mate just natural sunlight

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone

Verdict... The Megs G220 Polishing Machine was Incredibly User Friendly to use..... All products were Idiot Proof and I can Highly recommend them both to anybody who has never used them.

My Car... I was really quite disappointed with the end result, I'm not sure what I was expecting but after seeing Gav's and some of the others I was hoping for a Mirror Finish, it looks a lot better than it was but not what I was hoping for I didn't really have time to look at it too much as I was busy with other things afterwards. Remember.... I've only shown you the Best Pics.

Maybe today it will look different
