    My manual R is better than my auto t5 which drinks it,R has rica Ecu,t5 tim Williams.. I don't worry to much bout figures tho light comes on time to fill up and repeat...... Lol

    About 30 at 70mph drops to about 28 at 80mph, driving round town and country roads on short trips where i live get about 25 tops, thats all off the trip computer.

    The modded v70 2.5lpt would do 42 mpg on a run and about 28/30 round town .

    every time i have driven to spain and back in a t5 i have averaged 28mpg for the round trip

    Tbf i think seeing as most of these car have at least 270 bhp 30+ mpg is pritty good from a car with that horse power. But i suppose i was used to 20-25 mpg from my merc's

    I have an 850 t5 manual i must have a heavy foot because i normslly average around 23 mpg even on a long run i average 27.5 am i doing something wrong lol

    i drove the same country route as my brother followed, i was in my mapped, and modded s70r manual and got 33mpg his was an auto 850 t5 he got 28mpg on the exact same run and speeds, every car is different, manuals are better

    The V40 only goes as low as 9MPG!! Cool..1/2 a lap more than you!

    Best I've seen is 45mpg at 55mph from an Essex meet last year.

    Nottingham to Heathrow and back 41.1 mpg and I hit 90 a couple of times! Long term average over 3000 plus miles is 30 mpg but I haven't done any track days this year!
