Polished steel will look great across there. Not something i've seen before either.

Thinking about it could the standard one not be chrome dipped by the aquagraphix company?

it may be different on Graeme's with it being the 2.4, didn't that have VVT on inlet and exhaust or was that just the R's?

2.4 T5 has VVT on both cams, ours has it on the exhaust only.

The covers should be no different tho.

isnt the me7 cover moulded to come up and meet the cambelt cover- that might take some skill in bending and stretching the metal to meet the shape and take hours......

i think this is why nobody did it before - easy if only you have a die + press machine.

the earlier ones are just flat.

i got offered some s60 R style engine covers made from carbon fibre, but when i see martin's covering skills at work i think he would just trump me for cost .

do a p1 polished battery cover graeme, just remember to line it with rubber or plastic. - lol

that guy from ebay does not work at the company who let him make all those covers after hours anymore, so you wont see all those for sale again.

I don't think an alloy header tank is a great idea TBH. It may look a bit out of place on it's own, plus you need a site glass or something to see the level??

Alloy tanks for water injection might not be a bad idea. Maf to turbo pipes for both P1 & P2. I'm surprised the exhausts/downpipe's never took off TBH.

i was disapointed with the intrest i got in the phase 2 pipes. i realy thought theyd sell well at half the price of main supplier. header tank would have a perspec lens in the side for checking level.

If it's possible to make up reverse intercooler kits for P1's for around the £150 mark give or take, I reckon you'd sell quite a few.

you could always have a dip pipe on the cap to check level on an alloy header tank- like a pas cap?
less hassle if you are not cutting it to fit a sight glass?

Instead of stainless header tanks - what about the under bonnet polished stainless panels !! I do like a bit of bling
