    i dont want something inyour face. just somthing suttle. i thought about painting it metalic charcoal just to break it up a bit. not a huge fan of dressed up enginebays but got to admit yours has got me thinking

    This thread may almost be at an end as my freshly dipped scuttle arrived this afternoon. Just like the other parts I've had dipped, the quality of the finish is exceptional.

    Couple of pics under lights to highlight the gold weave in the pattern:







    Couldn't wait to get it fitted.....







    And so that's it....hopefully nothing else will need dipping.

    that looks very very nice and cant wait to get my angle grinder near it, i mean see it in person. you not tempted to get the front panel done. im realy tempted to do my engine bay now.

    you should apply a few layers of wax. bet that shot would look amazing with some beading

    you thought about painting the mounts satin black for the engine stabilizer and gloss black bolts.

    you also need to spin your oil cap around so the writing is inline with what on the engine cover. i do it in my car. no idea why. i even do it with the fake fag lighter on dash. the righting has to be straight
