Since starting my new job in April ive got quite friendly with the Hyperformance Chip guy that comes in.



He usually tunes the diesel Golfs, Audi's and Leons getting very good results.



I enquired about him tuning my C70 T5 ME7 and he said that his partner does all his own maps and they can charge up to £500 but since he does a lot of business with my boss he does him the maps for £180.



I can get mine tuned for the same money and he said it'll add about an extra 30bhp without any problem at all.



Is it worth it or should i be a bit dubious since he's never tuned a petrol T5 ?



Sounds like a bargain but unsure, any opinions ?

I know it sounds cheap Lee, but I'd be very wary....better stick with the known & proven Volvo re-maps.
